PARTISIPASI MASYARAKAT UNTUK PEMBANGUNAN DESA WISATA (Studi Sosial Kapital Pada PKK di Desa Karang Anyar, Kecamatan Jati Agung, Kabupaten Lampung Selatan)

Abstract

This study aims to determine the social capital of the Family Welfare Movement (PKK) of Karang Anyar Village in mobilizing village community participation for the development of a tourist village. This study used a qualitative approach, the determination of respondents in this study used a purposive technique. Data obtained through data collection technique by interview, observation and documentation, then processed through several stages, namely reduction, display and verification. The results obtained show that social capital has an important role in the Family Welfare Movement (PKK) in Karang Anyar Village. Social norms and beliefs are able to realize common goals. Forms of participation by the community in the development of tourist villages such as: 1) The form of participation in the initial tourism process is that the community begins to hold joint deliberations to discuss their wishes for tourism activities in Karang Anyar Village. 2) The form of participation in planning is the formation of POKDARWIS (Tourism Awareness Group), the creation of facilities and infrastructure that support tourism. 3) The form of participation in implementation, namely the community is directly involved in the implementation of all plans that have been planned. 4) Forms of participation in development, namely maintaining existing and planned attractions, direct promotion or through social media. Social capital is very important in an organization, the most prominent social capital in the Karang Anyar Village Empowerment Organization and Family Welfare Movement (PKK), namely social networks and those who are weak in social norms. Efforts to maintain and increase social capital in the Empowerment Organization and Family Welfare Movement (PKK) of Karang Anyar Village are by maintaining social networks and increasing social norms in the Empowerment Organization and Family Welfare Movement (PKK) in Karang Anyar Village.
